Welcome to DETENTION MINISTRY

The Detention Ministry of the Archdiocese of Miami serves over 30 correctional Institutions (jails, prisons, and detention centers) across South Florida. Through trained clergy and lay volunteers, it offers weekly Catholic services, pastoral care, and spiritual support to incarcerated and detained individuals.
